Duplicate File Scan Settings

The Duplicate File Scan Settings give users additional control over SpyHunter Pro's Duplicate File Scan. By default, SpyHunter pre-excludes certain directories from duplicate scans, such as system paths and other common folders that do not generally contain user content. This section presents a list of folders that are configured to be excluded. You may add additional folders to the exclusion list by clicking the “Exclude Additional Folders” button beneath the list. If you wish to remove a folder from the exclusion list, uncheck its checkbox and click the “Apply” button.

SpyHunter also contains a list of file extensions that are scanned during Duplicate File Scans. These are file extensions that are commonly associated with user content. You can add additional file extensions to this list by typing the file extension into the entry field beneath the list and then clicking the “+” button at the right of the field. If you wish to remove an extension from the included file extensions list, uncheck its checkbox and click the “Apply” button.
