Dream Scan Soft is a rogue anti-virus application that pretends to scan a computer system and detects numerous malware threats on a PC that are absolutely false. Dream Scan Soft is one more member of the WinWeb Security family and a clone of its family members. Dream Scan Soft attempts to trick computer users into believing their PCs are infected and urges them to purchase a so-called full version to remove supposed computer infections. Dream Scan Soft uses intentional false positives with the purpose to scare affected PC users into thinking their computer systems have been contaminated with various security infections. In some cases, the falsified security threats are Trojans that advertise or even directly install Dream Scan Soft on the computer system. Dream Scan Soft invades the computer with the help of a Trojan or a tricky download and, once installed, it immediately starts displaying bogus pop-up alerts to frighten PC users that their computers are at risk. The truth is that the computer has been compromised, but the main problem is Dream Scan Soft itself. ESG's malware analysts highly recommend computer users not to believe anything related to Dream Scan Soft and purchase this malicious security program. It is highly recommended to remove Dream Scan Soft scamware from the corrupted PC with a legal anti-malware app.
The clones of Dream Scan Soft include System Security, Antivirus Security, Total Security 2009, Security Tool, Trojan.RogueAV.a.gen, System Adware Scanner 2010, FakeAlert-KW.e, Advanced Security Tool 2010, System Tool 2011, Security Shield, MS Removal Tool, Total Security, System Security 2011, Essential Cleaner, Security Shield Pro 2011, Personal Shield Pro, Security Shield 2011, Security Sphere 2012, Advanced PC Shield 2012, Futurro Antivirus.
