FakeAlert-KW.e

FakeAlert-KW.e is a Trojan that displays bogus security alerts to trick users into purchasing rogueware to remove "detected" threats. Upon execution, FakeAlert-KW.e will install rogue anti-spyware onto a victim's machine and create a start-up registry key. This will be followed by the display of different types of security alerts all advising the victim to purchase the full version of the rogueware in order to remove all the malware. This is all a scam; in order to stop all the bogus security notifications use a reliable security application to remove FakeAlert-KW.e.
