EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Windows Safety Master is a fraudulent security program. Windows Safety Master appertains to a huge family of threats known as FakePAV. There are dozens of variants of Windows Safety Master, all with similar names and interfaces, only varying in name from one version to another. Windows Safety Master will try to steal your money by impersonating an anti-malware program and claiming that numerous threats were found on your computer. When computer users try to remove these imaginary threats using Windows Safety Master, this rogue security program will display additional error messages claiming that the computer user needs to pay for a 'full version' of Windows Safety Master. However, since Windows Safety Master does not have the capacity to detect or remove threats – in fact, Windows Safety Master is a threat itself – PC security researchers strongly recommend removing Windows Safety Master completely with the help of a real security program.

- Windows Safety Master may enter a computer using a social engineering approach or typical threat delivery methods. For example, Windows Safety Master may be installed using fake advertisements for a free online threat scan. Windows Safety Master may be distributed through corrupted email messages or using other types of threats.
- Once installed, Windows Safety Master will make harmful changes to the affected computer that will allow Windows Safety Master to run automatically upon start-up, interfere with other software on the affected computer and display bogus error messages and system dialogs.
- Windows Safety Master will try to convince the computer user that the affected computer is infected with threats through the use of irritating pop-up messages and fake virus scans.
- When computer users try to fix these nonexistent problems using Windows Safety Master, an additional error message is displayed claiming that the victim needs to pay for a 'full version' of Windows Safety Master.
