Soft Cop is a rogue security application that scares its victims with fabricated reports of parasites on their computers. With the help of nasty Trojans, Soft Cop is able to spread to different computers. However, Soft Cop can also be downloaded directly from its malicious website. Without a user's permission or knowledge, Soft Cop is able to infiltrate a system and perform a fake system scan. On completion of the scan Soft Cop will claim that your computer is critically infected with various malware, followed by a recommendation to purchase the full version in order to remove the supposed threats. All scan reports, pop-ups and virus alerts from Soft Cop are fabricated and not to be trusted.
