SoftSafeness is a rogue anti-spyware program that was created to lure computer users into buying its useless security program. SoftSafeness, like other rogues, will display many fake system messages in addition to conducting bogus system scans. SoftSafeness may slow down the performance of your system and block installed security programs which could make detection and removal of SoftSafeness difficult.

SoftSafeness comes from the FakeSmoke family, the same family that encompass fake security programs such as WiniGuard, WiniFighter, WiniShield, SaveKeep, TrustNinja, SaveDefense, BlockDefense, SaveKeeper, TrustWarrior, SecurityFighter, Security Soldier, Security Soldier, SecureVeteran, Secure Warrior, Trust Cop, Safe Fighter, Trust Soldier, Virus Protector.
