TrustWarrior is a rogue anti-spyware application that comes from the group of attackers behind the FakeSmoke family. TrustWarrior performs similar tactics to that of other rogues in the way that it will display false parasite notifications and perform system scans that return several bogus results all in an effort to get computer users to purchase a full version of TrustWarrior. TrustWarrior is complexly ineffective for the task of removing and detecting computer parasites.
The misleading tactics used by TrustWarrior and its family members are the same. TrustWarrior clones include WiniFighter, WiniShield, SaveKeep, SaveKeeper, SoftSafeness, WiniGuard, SecurityFighter, Security Soldier, SecureVeteran, Secure Warrior, Trust Cop, Safe Fighter, Trust Soldier, Virus Protector, BlockDefense, Security Soldier, TrustNinja, SaveDefense, SystemCop.
