ScreenshotSecureVeteran is a fake security program designed to extort money from unsuspecting computer users through aggressive and misleading tactics. Once installed, SecureVeteran will display fake popup warnings and conduct system scans that return falsified results all in an effort to make computer users believe that they must purchase a full version of SecureVeteran to remove the found threats. SecureVeteran is not able rid a computer of parasites.

SecureVeteran is a member of the FakeSmoke family and a clone of rogue anti-spyware programs such as WiniGuard, WiniFighter, WiniShield, SaveKeep, TrustNinja, SaveDefense, BlockDefense, SaveKeeper, SoftSafeness, TrustWarrior, SecurityFighter, Security Soldier, Security Soldier, Secure Warrior, Trust Cop, Safe Fighter, Trust Soldier, Virus Protector.
