Trust Cop

Trust Cop Description

ScreenshotTrust Cop is a fake anti-spyware program. Trust Cop comes from the same hackers that market and sell the fake security programs known as SaveDefense, SoftSafeness, SaveKeep and Secure Fighter. These applications, including Trust Cop, are not able to detect or remove parasites.

Trust Cop, once installed, will use fabricated popup messages and fake system scan results as a scare tactic forcing computer users into purchasing a full version of the Trust Cop program. Upon installation, Trust Cop can populate the infected system with malicious registry entries and files making it difficult to manually detect and remove in some cases.
