InSysSecure (InSys Secure) is a rogue anti-spyware that is part of the FakeSmoke family and is an application designed to use devious methods to force gullible computer users to purchase a full version of InSysSecure. Many of these mischievous tactics include popup alerts that attempt to warn computer users of a bogus spyware threat or returning many false parasite scan results. InSysSecure can lead to the damage and corruption of essential system files including the Windows registry. If not removed, InSysSecure can greatly reduce the performance of the infected computer.
