General Antivirus Image

General Antivirus is a fake anti-spyware application and clone of the bogus security tool called Internet Antivirus Pro. General Antivirus can be installed without a computer user's knowledge or permission through a dangerous Trojan horse parasite. Once installed, General Antivirus can seriously disrupt the normal operation of the computer by displaying multiple popup alerts that attempt to make computer users believe that they need to purchase the full General Antivirus program to remove a detected threat.

General Antivirus is also known to initiate system scans for parasites only to return several falsified spyware results. General Antivirus is never able to detect or rid a computer of spyware, malware and any other type of parasite. It is suggested that detection and removal of General Antivirus be performed with a spyware removal tool to ensure essential system files are not harmed.ScreenshotScreenshotScreenshotScreenshotScreenshot
