XP Security

XP Security is a dangerous rogue designed target gullible computer users in hopes that they end up purchasing a full version of XP Security. XP Security, in full version or the free edition, cannot detect or remove computer parasites. Usually once XP Security is installed, it attempts to scan for computer parasites only to return bogus information that cannot be trusted.

XP Security is not much different from the rogue anti-spyware programs known as XP Smart Security 2010 and XP Security Tool. Each of these applications represents a fake security program created by hackers to extort money from computer users.
