Description is one of the many empty websites that Internet fraudsters create, intending to conduct questionable advertising campaigns. These pages are typically promoted through adware or other Potentially Unwanted Programs. (PUPs). When an infected device redirects the user to a page like that, the fraudsters' tactic is always the same – they try to get the user to subscribe to notifications from some unsafe website. Then, the subscribers are flooded with potentially corrupted advertising pop-ups that lead to other dubious websites or directly install additional malware on the victim's computer. makes no exception – it shows visitors a black screen and a loading bar, pretending that some content will appear after the visitor clicks on the 'Allow' button and allows browser notifications. Though, the only thing that happens upon clicking on that button is that receives all rights to deliver push notifications straight to the user's device, even when no browser is launched.

PC users who see pop-ups on their screen should check their computers for malware through a reliable anti-virus program. Applications that generate undesired advertisements have additional features that can be extremely harmful to the user's online privacy. Some of them can track the user's data and cause financial losses and even identity theft.
