The SecuriDex software is promoted on Securidex.com as a secure media player that is an alternative to the VLC Player and Windows Media Player when it comes to online video streaming. The SecuriDex software is similar to IFishplayer, the Tiny Media Player and the PPS Video Player and may land on your PC with a freeware installer. You should know that the SecuriDex media player is not developed by JRT Studio and is developed by SecuriDex, LLC. that is not related to JRT Studio in any way. You might have noticed that the official site of SecuriDex has images that are owned by JRT Studio and are part of the presentation for their product Rocket Music Player for the Android OS. Also, the Securidex.com page features content from Wall.alphacoders.com that is copy-pasted directly. Security authorities classify the SecuriDex media player as a Potentially Unwanted Program that may lead users to believe that it is legitimate and secure.
Moreover, the SecuriDex media player is not digitally signed and lacks support for HTTPS, which makes it very insecure, and you may wish to avoid using it to watch videos online. The SecuriDex media player is backed up by marketers and may gather data like your software configuration, bookmarks collection, favorite sites and accounts on social media to generate personalized commercials.
