Typically, these may occur after users visit other, questionable destinations with rogue advertising networks or by having a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on the user's device.
The Alltopspot.com page itself has been observed running online tactics. Users who land on it may be exposed to misleading or clickbait messages trying to convince them to click the displayed 'Allow' button. The false scenario created by the page is that by pressing the button, users will gain access to a video content. The page will show a loading bar that is stuck and will not progress any further. It will be accompanied by a message similar to:
'Click the 'Allow' button to subscribe to the push notifications and continue watching'
Users who follow the instructions will grant essential browser permissions to the Alltopspot.com site. The page will be able to deliver numerous advertisements that may take various forms - banners, pop-ups, notifications, etc. The advertisements must be approached with caution because they may promote unsafe destinations - fake giveaways, phishing schemes, technical support frauds, platforms spreading PUPs and more.
