ZipSome

ZipSome is a potentially unwanted program that some Mac computer users may find to be useless and not exactly certain what the app offers in the first place. ZipSome appears to display random Mac OS Flash player updates or pop-ups that are all confusing to most. Such an action is believed to be part of a scheme that the creators of ZipSome run to gain money from clicks or impressions on associated sites or advertisements.

The ZipSome app may hijack Internet settings through loading components within web browser applications. Most of the components associated with ZipSome are in the form of web browser extensions and should be removed to stop the unwanted and annoying actions of ZipSome.

The detection and removal of the ZipSome components may be done automatically using an antimalware resource. Once ZipSome and its components are eliminated, a computer user may then set their Internet settings back to their desirable settings, which may include the setting for a default home page or new tab page.
