Interacting with the advertisements also could trigger redirects to other online tactics, fake giveaways, shady adult-oriented platforms and more. It is not uncommon for the advertisements to contain offers for seemingly legitimate software products. However, upon installation, users often discover that the applications have hidden adware or browser hijacker functions.
