The UPlayer software is promoted at Uplayer.us.com as a powerful and simplistic media player that is a rival of the VLC Player. The UPlayer software may be marketed on sites that host adult-rated content and videos from sports channels. The UPlayer media tool is similar to the BR Media Player and the Simple Media Player. The UPlayer software is delivered to users via the DownloadAdmin download manager that is not favored by security analysts. You should know that the UPlayer software is known to come with advertisements from third parties and may require users to watch video commercials before they load content on their PCs. Therefore, the UPlayer application is deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may harass users with marketing materials. The terms of service that you need to accept when installing the UPlayer software state that you will be provided with graphic and video messages, pop-up ads clearly and suggestions to install third-party software.
Computer experts do not perceive the UPlayer software as a compelling alternative to other free media players, and users may not like its behavior. The UPlayer application may install a browser plug-in that may be used to read your Internet history and the purchases you make on Amazon and eBay. That way the UPlayer media player can show tailor-suited ads and increase the chances that you will be attracted to goods from sponsors. The UPlayer may welcome users to take advantage of the DownloadAdmin download manager and install additional codecs and EXIF editors. The UPlayer software may need a larger portion of your system resources compared to other media tools, which may cause poor system performance and lower your productivity on other applications like your Internet browser, word processor and chat client. Using the UPlayer application means sacrificing resources that may be put to better use in other software. Computer experts advise users to consider removing the UPlayer software with a reliable anti-spyware instrument and choose a better alternative.
