BR Media Player is a dubious media player that may introduce a number of unwanted system modifications. The video player is advertised as a useful application that can help users play all types of video files, as well as to watch online videos. However, BR Media Player may often be promoted by shady websites, and our security analysis that BR Media Player has several hidden features that may disturb the average PC user.
The BR Media Player is ad-supported, so once you install it on your computer it may start to inject advertisements and banners in the web browsers you use. Apart from doing that, the BR Media Player is known to display misleading advertisements and messages that may be part of an online tech support scam. Several users who installed the BR Media Player report that it may be responsible for a fake Blue Screen of Death they saw. The bogus BSOD promoted a phone number that belongs to a well-known online tech support scam. So while BR Media Player may seem good, at first sight, we advise you to stay away from this product!
