TISC Ransomware
The TISC Ransomware is yet another variant stemming from the STOP/Djvu Ransomware family. Each file affected by the threat will be marked via the addition of '.tisc' to its original name as a new file extension. The ransom note of the threat is dropped on the breached system in the form of a text file named '_readme.txt.'

The demands of the TISC Ransomware are practically identical to those of the other STOP/Djvu variants. The ransom note states that victims must pay the sum of $980 if they wish to receive the decryption key and software tool from the hackers. However, TISC also makes a typical offer for this malware family of reducing the price to $490, if the users establish communication within the first 72 hours.
To do so, victims have to use the two email addresses provided in the ransom note - manager@mailtemp.ch and helpmanager@airmail.cc. They also can attach a single locked file to their message. The hackers will then supposedly decrypt the file and return it for free.
