EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

Takecontent.net is a rogue website that doesn't provide any meaningful service to its visitors. Instead, the main goal of the page is to generate monetary gains for its operators by running intrusive advertising campaigns. To achieve its plan, Takecontent.net must first trick users into unknowingly subscribing to its push notifications.
The Internet has been flooded with hoax websites that operate in a virtually identical way to Takecontent.net. One of the fake scenarios that have been abused by most of them consists of pretending to be doing a CAPTCHA check. Users are presented with images containing robots and instructions similar to:
'Click Allow if you are not a robot'
'Press Allow to verify that you are not a robot'
Takecontent.net also has been observed to use a different tactic. It pretends as if an adult-oriented video titled 'VideoAdult.mp4' is encountering an issue that is preventing it from being played. The site claims that users must 'Press the Allow, button to continue.'
Of course, no matter what the displayed messages state, the end result will always be that users who press the button will grant important browser permissions to the page. Afterward, Takecontent.net will be able to deliver dubious and questionable ads to the system. The generated advertisements associated with such shady sources typically promote more unsafe destinations, where users could encounter fake giveaways, phishing schemes, suspicious adult-oriented platforms and more. The advertisements also could try to distribute various intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) by presenting them as seemingly useful applications.
