The Search Window program is advertised as a search enhancer on freeware packages that can allow users to see search results in four tabs simultaneously. The Search Window program may install a browser extension, plug-in, add-on, or a Browser Helper Object to your Internet client to ease its operations. The Search Window program may provide search results from Google, Bing, Yandex, and Yahoo to satisfy your needs. However, Search Window is adware and is associated with browser hijacking software. Security researchers reveal that the Search Window adware may show pop-up windows from Rvzr-a.akamaihd.net and change your favored search aggregator to Default-Search.net. The Search Window adware might use the Akamai CDN (Content Deployment Network) to load advertisements in your browser and generate pay-per-click revenue for its creators.
The Search Window adware may use ActionScript to handle the advertisements display, and may slow down your browser performance. Additionally, the Search Window adware may prevent users from loading 1080p and 720p videos on video sharing platforms like Vimeo, Dailymotion and YouTube. Security researchers add that the Search Window adware may invite users to install badware like Search Highlighter and WebSaver under the pretense of extending its functionality. The Search Window adware may not appear in the 'Programs and Features' panel, and users may have trouble finding its installation directory. The Search Window adware might use DLL file structure to keep Web browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox under the radar of AV scanners. You should do an online research and install a reputable anti-malware suite that can detect and delete the Search Window adware efficiently.
