The Search Expanse software may appear in your 'Programs and Features' panel after the installation of a freeware combination with the 'Typical' or 'Express' option. Computer users can visit the site Searchexpanse.com to read on the functionality of the Search Expanse software. The motto of the Search Expanse app is 'Your Web search has new potential,' but that may not speak clearly as to what it does. Security analysts alert that the Search Expanse app may appear as a browser extension and fall into the category of adware. The Search Expanse adware is another variant of the Search Voyage adware and works similarly to HooplaSearch and the In Motion Search. The Search Expanse adware may use the IP address geolocation technology to pinpoint your location and generate custom-made ads on your screen. The ads by Search Expanse may feature gift cards, discounts, vouchers, vacation offers and lottery tickets. Additionally, the Search Expanse may use HTA code to display dialog boxes and suggest you to provide your email address and phone number to receive exclusive offers.
Security analysts do not recommend users to provide their contact details to the operators of the Search Expanse adware. The handlers of the Search Expanse adware can earn a hefty sum of money by selling information about you to third parties, and you may be overwhelmed by spam mail. Moreover, the spam email may include harmful software and links to corrupted pages that are rigged with the Neutrino and the Flimkit exploit kits. The Search Expanse adware may change your default search engine and monitor your clicks on online stores like Amazon, Best Buy and Etsy. The adware may run in your system background continuously, and you may be presented with advertisements in the bottom right corner of your desktop. The Search Expanse adware may use the parameter 'always on top' to show commercials on top of your running programs. The Search Expanse adware might interrupt your gaming experience and video streaming as long as it is active on your system. Computer users may require the assistance of a trusted anti-malware tool to purge the Search Expanse adware from their machine securely.
