The Recipes by inMind Toolbar is a product of APN, LLC that may be distributed by inMind, LLC bundled with free program packages. The Recipes by inMind toolbar is advertised as a tool that can change the user's new tab and homepage settings so that users would have direct access to recipes from all over the world. The Recipes by inMind toolbar may change your homepage to a customized version of Ask.com and feature already bookmarked Internet resources on cooking. Additionally, an updater module may be installed alongside Recipes by inMind to ensure deployment and implementation of patches. The Recipes by inMind toolbar may seem useful, but it is considered as adware because it might generate pop-up and pop-under windows that host advertisements from sponsors. Additionally, the Recipes by the inMind toolbar may use session cookies, DOM storage data and read your browsing history to create a unique advertising profile for you that may be accessed by third parties. Users that are infected with the Recipes by inMind adware may see banners and floating ads on their favorite sites that may be injected by the Recipes by inMind toolbar. The Recipes by inMind adware-powered toolbar has limited browser hijacking capabilities and has built-in protection against attempts at changing the default search engine set by the Recipes by inMind adware.
