Price Finder is adware that may show annoying pop-up advertisements when Internet users are visiting online shopping websites. Price Finder may be added on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Typically, anti-virus programs do not recognize Price Finder as a harmful program because this is a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Price Finder commonly propagates packed with shareware and freeware programs, such as free video file converters, codecs and similar apps. When the computer user chooses to install any shareware or freeware program, it might involve additional toolbars, browser plug-ins and ad-ons inserted in the installation wizard. They are marked as optional programs but if the PC user does not take a check box off for inserting them, he will end up having unwanted system alterations.
