EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Captchatotal.live is a page that doesn't seem too interested in providing a useful service for its visitors. On the contrary, Captchatotal.live has been classified as a rogue website running online schemes. Many pages of this type are capable of displaying several tactics, with the exact one shown to users being determined based on their specific IP address/geolocation.
When infosec researchers examined the page, they discovered Captchatotal.live running a popular browser-based tactic. Through fake scenarios, the site was trying to convince users to unknowingly subscribe to its push notifications. The implication is that visitors must pass a CAPTCHA check before accessing the supposed content of the page. An image of a robot would typically be accompanied by a lure message such as:
'Click Allow to confirm that you are not a robot!'
Users should be warned that simply clicking on the displayed button could take them to untrustworthy sites via forced redirects. For example, Captchatotal.live caused redirects to another dubious page that was running a fake giveaway similar to the 'AMAZON TRIAL' POP-UP Scam.
In addition, the browser permissions granted to the site after users press the button will give it the ability to deliver various, unwanted advertisements. The advertisements could prove to be more than a simple annoyance, as they could easily promote more rogue websites or even invasive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs) equipped with adware, browser hijacker or data-harvesting capabilities.
