EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Users that land on the Freenotifications.com page will encounter yet another dubious Web page that will try to trick them into enabling its push notification services. This particular tactic has been proliferated through countless questionable websites already, but more and more emerge almost daily. In general, all of these scam pages follow the same behavioral pattern. They display false and clickbait messages in an attempt to hide their true intentions.
One of the most commonly seen scenario consists of the hoax website pretending to be doing a CATPCHA check. The implication is that users must press the shown 'Allow' button to prove they are not robots and gain access to the supposed content of the site. Of course, no such additional content exists, to begin with. All the page wants is for its visitors to press the button and get subscribed to its push notifications. Freenotifications.com has been observed running this very same scenario with messages similar to:
'Click Allow if you are not a robot'
By clicking the button, users may also trigger forced redirects to additional untrustworthy destinations. For example, Freenotifications.com causes redirects to notadslife.com, an almost identical scam page. In addition, the ads delivered to the affected users could be promoting more shady online scams, suspicious adult-oriented platforms, fake giveaways, intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs), etc.
