The Free Game Loop is a browser extension being promoted via dubious websites. As is almost always the case, the application is yet another intrusive adware that tries to take advantage of the users on whose systems it is installed. Typically, adware applications are designed to generate monetary gains for their operators via the delivery of unwanted advertisements.
Free Game Loop is likely to generate various, annoying pop-ups, notifications, banners and other advertisements. As a result of the constantly appearing advertisements, the user experience on the device could be diminished greatly. More importantly, users risk being presented with advertisements for untrustworthy or even unsafe destinations. Adware applications are known for showing advertisements promoting fake giveaways, phishing tactics, technical support schemes, platforms spreading PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs), dubious online gambling/betting platforms, etc.
Users should be aware that many adware, browser hijackers and PUPs may carry data-tracking routines. These applications may silently monitor the users' browsing activities, collect device details, such as IP addresses, geolocation, device type, browser type, etc., or even try to extract sensitive information from the browsers' autofill data. Users typically rely on it to save their account credentials, banking details, payment data, credit/debit card numbers, etc.
