Desktop Defender 2010 is a rogue anti-spyware that comes from the same group of hackers that made the fake security programs that belong to the WinPC Defender family. Desktop Defender 2010 uses devious methods to extort money from computer users. This process is usually carried out by Desktop Defender 2010 displaying fake popup messages and conducting system scans that return falsified parasite results.
