Control Components
Control Components aka ControlComponents is a fake anti-spyware application. Control Components uses the same scare tactics as the rogue applications Privacy Center and Control Manager. The trial version of Control Components is surreptitiously placed into victims' computers by sneaky Trojans. Once inside a system, Control Components will generate a fake online system scan, security alerts and pop-up messages in order to trick users into thinking that their machines are infected. The users will then be advised to purchase the "full" version of Control Components to remove all the "detected" computer threats. If you suspect that Control Components is on your PC use a reliable security tool to remove Control Components and all malware associated with it.
