Control Manager Image
Control Manager is a fake security application that gives false reports of malware threats on a victim's PC. Control Manager is from the same family of rogueware as Control Center. Control Manager is typically distributed by Trojans or it can come bundled with other malware. On installation, Control Manager will display a number of fabricated scan reports, security alerts and pop-up messages all reporting that numerous malware infections reside inside the machine. The victim will then be prompted to purchase the "full" version of Control Manager in order to remove all the harmful malware that was detected. All security notifications generated by Control Manager should be ignored and users should not purchase this rogue software.
