Privacy Center

Privacy Center Description

ScreenshotPrivacy Center is a rogue anti-spyware application, or fake spyware remover, that gains access into your system without your knowledge and permission. The most common infection case is when you unknowingly download a Trojan virus masquerading as a video codec, and then having the Trojan virus displaying intimidating notifications about spyware infections and suggesting you download Privacy Center.

Once installed and active, Privacy Center performs fake system scans that find even more infections and security problems that should be removed immediately. Finally, it is advertised that you should purchase the full version of Privacy Center, because the trial version is unable to remove these infections and to ensure further PC protection. Unfortunately, this is all merely a scam, as Privacy Center is completely useless. This is why it is important to completely remove Privacy Center immediately upon detection.
