AWM Antivirus is a rogue anti-virus application. AWM Antivirus is distributed by Trojans that can secretly enter computer systems by exploiting vulnerabilities. On entering a system, AWM Antivirus will launch a system scan and report numerous malware infections to convince a victim that the system is infected. Then the victim will be prompted to purchase the "full version" of AWM Antivirus in order to remove all the detected malware threats. This is all a scam; AWM Antivirus is a useless application used to swindle victims out of their money.
