ZoomEx is installed to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome while web users are downloading some free programs from the Internet. ZoomEx modifies browser settings which results in a variety of unwanted actions on the compromised PC. ZoomEx will display numerous pop-up advertisements while computer users are visiting their favorite websites. These pop-up advertisements displayed by ZoomEx can reroute attacked Pc users to doubtful websites where they can get their computers affected by malware infections. ZoomEx also modifies the homepage to Zoomex.net, and diverts victims to this website. ZoomEx grabs the attacked PC user's system resources. ZoomEx comes packed with free software products made by attackers to earn money from free applications.
