EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Yourcoolfeed.com joins the countless other dubious websites that have the same goal - to deliver questionable content to their visitors and try and trick them into subscribing to the page's push notification services. This popular browser-based tactic relies on various manipulative social-engineering tricks to work.
Indeed, one of the most common scenarios abused by these deceptive sites is to pretend to be doing a CAPTCHA check, urging users to prove that they are not bots by clicking the displayed 'Allow' button. Other variations include the sites promising access to non-existing content, claiming that a file is ready for download, or that a video is encountering issues that, again, will be fixed by clicking the button. The exact text of some of the show messages may be:
'If 18+, click Allow'
'Click Allow to verify that you are not a robot'
'File is ready for download'
'Click Allow to watch the video'
Users who fall for the tactic will grant important browser permissions to Yourcoolfeed.com. The site will proceed to abuse these permissions to run an intrusive advertising campaign. By this point, even closing the affected browser altogether will not prevent the advertisements from appearing. Not to mention, that the displayed advertisements will more than likely employ similar tactics while trying to get users to engage with them. The advertisements could then redirect to other con pages, sites promoting intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs), or even unsafe pages spreading malware threats.
