EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

The YouBoost program may feature a logo that is owned by Google Inc., but YouBoost is not associated with YouTube. The YouBoost program is published as a free tool to optimize your experience at Youtube.com and allow you to download your favorite videos. Avid YouTube users may want to visit You-boost.com to know more about the YouBoost program but will not find information that would reveal the features they should expect. The You-boost.com Web page does not have screenshots or technical information on the app that is promoted. It says that YouBoost is ad supported media compression engine and nothing more. PC users would need to install the YouBoost program to find out what they will receive. Unfortunately, the YouBoost application falls into the category of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) with adware functionality. The YouBoost app is very similar to Tube Enhancer, EZ YouTube Video Downloader and YouTube Accelerator.
The YouBoost program may allow users to download videos from Youtube.com if they complete short marketing surveys and are willing to explore promotional offers from sponsors. Additionally, the YouBoost program may redirect users to less-reputable online stores and display pop-up windows to welcome users to install software like Desktop Bar and DropIntoDeals from partners. Computer users that have installed the YouBoost application risk installing fake software updates because YouBoost is known to invite users to install updates for Nvidia graphic cards from unofficial sources. The YouBoost program should not be allowed to install patches and hot-fixes for your computer because it may cause damage to your Windows OS. Also, the YouBoost program may run in your system background continuously after you close your Internet browser and impede other applications from opening. The YouBoost program may be listed under the name of Media Center Launcher in your 'Control Panel' and users may mistake it for the Windows Media Center software. It may be a good idea to remove YouBoost with the help of a reliable anti-spyware tool and avoid badware.
