EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Popularity Rank: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The Ygl Search (YglSearch) is the name of an intrusive browser hijacker. The application may try to attract users by promising to enhance the way they search or navigate the Web. However, in reality, after being installed on the users' devices, the Ygl Search will take control over their Web browser and modify important settings. This is the typical behavior of a browser hijacker application.
Browser hijackers may target the homepage, new tab page, and the default search engine of the user's Web browser. All of the affected settings will be changed to now open a promoted address. Usually, the unwanted redirects will lead to a fake search engine - a search engine that is incapable of generating search results on its own. Instead, users will be shown results taken from additional sources. While sometimes the displayed results may be from legitimate engines, such as Yahoo, Bing, Google, etc., this may not always be the case. Users could easily be shown untrustworthy or low-quality results filled with sponsored advertisements because their search query was redirected to a dubious search engine.
Users also could be exposed to additional risks, while they have adware, browser hijacker, or a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) present on their computers. These applications could easily carry additional intrusive functions, such as data tracking. The collected information may include the user's browsing history, search history, IP address, geolocation, banking details, payment data, etc.
