ScreenshotXP Micro Antivirus is a fake anti-virus application that reports threats and generates fake security alerts to trick users into purchasing it. XP Micro Antivirus is able to enter users' systems with the help of a sneaky Trojans. Once inside a system, XP Micro Antivirus will display fake scans and system security warnings in order to convince a victim that his/her system has been invaded by malware that can only be removed with the "licensed version" of XP Micro Antivirus. XP Micro Antivirus will also create a registry entry to ensure that it is executed each time the system is started up. Purchasing XP Micro Antivirus is not a plausible option; it is an illegitimate security tool that should be removed upon detection.
