XP Internet Security

XP Internet Security is a fake security software application. XPInternetSecurity is known to come from the Antivirus XP 2010 family of rogue anti-spyware programs. Usually XP Internet Security is installed without knowledge from a Trojan horse parasite or malicious website. Once this takes place, XP Internet Security is able to load into memory at startup of Windows making it very difficult to manually remove.

Installation of XP Internet Security is usually followed by several bogus alert messages that attempt to warn the computer user of infections that it detected. This is only used as a scare tactic because XP Internet Security is unable to detected or remove real computer parasite infections. The creators of XP Internet Security have the intention of the computer user being tricked out of their money in return for a bogus security program.
