Worm.Skopvel is a self-copying computer worm that spreads from one computer to another via removable drives in the background. Worm.Skopvel steals a victim's confidential data, such as credit card numbers, passwords, and other personally identifiable information. Worm.Skopvel may deactivate security applications, drop dangerous payloads onto your corrupted computer and block security-related online services. Worm.Skopvel also downloads additional components before the attackers gain remote access to the affected PC. It is highly recommended removing Worm.Skopvel from your machine immediately before it harms your computer.
