WORM_PIZZER.A is a worm that creates copies of itself on password-protected archived files. WORM_PIZZER.A circulates using a certain WINRAR command line. Once run, this permits WORM_PIZZER.A to replicate itself in archived files, namely in .ZIP, .RAR and .RAR FX files. WORM_PIZZER.A does not gather passwords from these archive files. The said command line is normal, in which a computer user can add a file onto archived files so long as the PC is installed with WINRAR. However, WORM_PIZZER.A abuses this to add copies of itself onto such files. Unsuspecting PC users who extract the archived files would not expect that they already incorporate WORM_PIZZER.A, thus possibly to run the malware threat together with their other files.
