EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Arcdoor is a threatening Worm that may use a large array of attack methods to infect as many computers as possible. This threat may be distributed online disguised as a harmless software update, Web browser, video codec pack, or other types of software that may seem useful to users. Drive-by downloads and exploiting software vulnerabilities are other techniques that cyber crooks may use to infect computers with Arcdoor.
Users who let themselves be tricked into downloading a fake update or program may end up infecting their computer with Arcdoor unknowingly. Once Arcdoor manages to compromise a computer, it can spread to other computers by replicating its components to network drives, USB sticks, and even on newly burned CDs automatically.
As long as Arcdoor is active on a computer it may disable important Windows features such as the firewall, task manager and command prompt automatically. By doing so, Arcdoor may make the system more vulnerable to attacks that may involve other types of threats. The removal of Arcdoor is only possible with the help of an up-to-date and potent anti-malware solution since this is the only way to fully remove all leftover files and components that may be associated with the Arcdoor's activities.
