Win32:Sirefef-HO is a hazardous rootkit which can access the infected PC system through the security holes generated by its allies. Win32:Sirefef-HO detects harmless files as malicious and modifies them. Copies of those file are then used to conceal Win32:Sirefef-HO in the affected computer system. Win32:Sirefef-HO's payload incorporates changing web browser settings on the targeted machine so that it would enter doubtful websites. The purpose is achieved by rerouting search results in Google and other well-known search tools to the websites indicated by the cybercriminals who download Win32:Sirefef-HO.
