WebSparkle may also circulate via spam email messages, which include harmful attachments or links to dangerous websites. WebSparkle may also be downloaded manually by tricking computer users into believing they are installing a valuable program. WebSparkle may also proliferate via peer-to-peer file sharing websites and is often bundled with illegitimately acquired or pirated software products.
