VSCAN7
VSCAN7 is a fake security application from the same family as Antivirus 7. Once the trial version of VSCAN7 is inside a system it will generate a system scan that will produce false results and report the detection of numerous malware. VSCAN7 will also display security alerts and pop-ups that will further alarm a victim and coerce him/her to purchase the "full version" of VSCAN7. VSCAN7 is unable to detect or remove any malware; therefore users are advised to ignore the fake security notifications displayed by this rogueware and have it removed upon detection.
