EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Updaterglobal.com is not a page that users would decide to open intentionally. After all, despite its name, the site doesn't appear to have any useful content related to software or other updates. Instead, users are likely going to encounter the site as a result of forced redirects caused by rogue advertising networks or intrusive PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs).
Users should keep in mind that many rogue websites adjust their content based on visitors' IP addresses and geolocation. As a result, the exact lure scenario they might encounter on Updaterglobal(dot)com could vary. However, when infosec researchers examined the site, they were presented with a fake CAPTCHA check. The site is likely to imply that users must pass its bogus verification to access its supposed content. The fake scenario included several images accompanied by a message such as:
'Select a robot and click 'Allow' to continue'
What the site may not make immediately obvious is that clicking 'Allow' will subscribe users to its push notifications. Pressing the 'Allow' button itself could trigger a redirect to additional, dubious destinations. For example, Updaterglobal.com takes users to a nearly identical site at gomusic.info. Updaterglobal.com also will become able to generate and deliver unwanted advertisements. Users risk being shown advertisements for untrustworthy destinations - unsafe websites, fake giveaways, shady betting/gaming platforms, etc.
