Trojan.Castdos

Trojan.Castdos is a Trojan that launches distributed denial-of-service attacks. Trojan.Castdos will transmit numerous DNS requests to a list of DNS servers to launch distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. If the DDoS attacks are successful, computer users relying on those DNS servers will be unable to access any service hosted on the servers. Trojan.Castdos enables cybercriminals to obtain remote unauthorized access and control over the compromised PC.
