EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Popularity Rank: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.
Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

Trojan.BaiDload is, as the name suggests, a Trojan. This Trojan is a threat to computer security, opening back doors for attackers to steal sensitive information and destroy data. It is designed to infiltrate the computer and download additional malware, such as other Trojans or adware on the computer. However, one upside of Trojan.BaiDload is that it is unable to infect other files; in this, it is somewhat self-contained. Trojan.BaiDload is compatible with older Microsoft 32-bit operating systems, more specifically Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Trojan.BaiDload is aimed at older, legacy systems that are not supported anymore by Microsoft, leaving them open to newly discovered exploits. Trojan.BaiDload can modify the Windows registry and add itself as a start-up operation. Trojan.BaiDload is mostly propagated by infected websites that contain malicious scripts. Trojan.BaiDload may download adware to your computer, littering your browser(s) with potentially harmful ads. If you start noticing abnormal behavior and ads popping up in your browser, perform a thorough system scan using a robust anti-malware system. If you have the Trojan in question, it will probably show up, as Trojan.BaiDload has a high level of detection.
