The Triangle Trail browser add-on is advertised as a map provider that can help archeology enthusiasts find maps for sea treasures and objects linked to mysteries. The selling point of the Triangle Trail browser add-on is similar to the one of Treasure Track and Loot Find. Another thing those three applications have in common is that they are adware. Security researchers report that the Triangle Trail adware may be delivered to users via freeware bundles that most users favor installing with the 'Typical' or 'Express' option. It is not a good idea to install the Triangle Trail adware because you may be bombarded with coupons, discounts, special offers and elusive deals every time you open your browser and try to input a URL or open a new tab page. The Triangle Trail adware may use JavaScript and executable DLL files to alter the behavior of browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
The Triangle Trail adware may provide Web surfers with links to insecure online shops and invite them to install badware like WinPcap and YourTemplateFinder that may decrease your overall system performance and show ads from sponsors. The Triangle Trail adware may read the Metadata of pages you visit and the content of your shopping cart on Amazon, eBay and Walmart to display customized offers. The ads powered by the Triangle Trail adware may appear as banners, pop-up and pop-under windows. Security experts note that the Triangle Trail adware may be perceived as a security vulnerability due to third parties that aim to compromise computers via a Web attack. The Triangle Trail adware does not use HTTPS encryption and may download potentially corrupted binary form the Internet without notice. Responsible computer users need to install a reliable anti-malware utility to remove the Triangle Trail adware safely.
