Users who find themselves landing on the page should use caution. The whole purpose of this site is to proliferate a popular browser-based tactic. By displaying misleading messages, the page tries to trick all of its visitors into subscribing to its push notification services. Afterward, it can start generating money for its creators by delivering intrusive and questionable advertisements to unsuspecting users.

This particular scheme has been rather popular among unscrupulous people and, as a result, the Internet has been flooded with dubious pages that are near-identical copies of each other. Through several social-engineering schemes, they lure users into clicking the displayed 'Allow' button. The most popular by far is pretending to run a CAPTCHA check. 

However, has been observed to try a different approach. It claims that a file that users wish to download will only be available after clicking 'Allow.' Besides the sheer annoyance of interrupting your browsing constantly, the generated advertisements may lead to more suspicious or even unsafe third-party websites. 

Oftentimes, the culprit behind the appearance of pages, such as is a sneaky PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). PUPs are intrusive applications that are spread through dubious means and, as a result, users may not have even realized that an additional program was being deployed to their computers or devices. PUPs should be removed as soon as possible, preferably with a professional security solution that will ensure that no traces of the applications are left behind.
